Choosing wall lights & sconces
Wall lights add layered light and reduce the need for bright overhead lighting. Up-and-down fittings wash the wall and create a soft, architectural effect in passages and living areas. Adjustable reading lights with their own switch are a practical choice beside beds. Mount wall lights at a consistent height along a run: around eye level is common, slightly higher in double-volume spaces.
